The ScienceWrite Programme, supported by the Royal Society, aims to help budding science writers from minoritised backgrounds to advance their professional development.

The ScienceWrite Programme, supported by the Royal Society, aims to help early-stage science writers from minoritised backgrounds to advance their professional development.

They consider 'science' in the broadest possible terms, including technology, engineering, mathematics, health, climate, sustainability, the history of science and so on.

Successful applicants will attend an in-person two-day event in London, followed by six virtual sessions to be held on Monday evenings.

Some sessions will involve a talk and group feedback, some will just be group feedback and the final session will involve 'elevator pitches' to agents and editors.
They want to create a community of writers that can support each other and encourage you to work with your cohort throughout the programme, including outside of the formal sessions.
The deadline for applications is 10am (UK time) on 3 January 2025.
