Coaching skills can help you build positive and effective working relationships with all those you work with.

Coaching is a highly impactful approach to people development and can support individuals to identify goals, gain insights into challenges, consider options and plan actions.

Coaching skills are a valuable asset to leaders and managers and can be useful in a range of workplace conversations, such as feedback, delegation and career development reviews.

This workshop will provide an introduction to key coaching concepts, approaches and skills.

We will explore when and how coaching skills can be used to support effective leadership and management practice.

Participants will take part in a practice coaching conversation using real-life examples, topics and challenges.

Attending this session will enable you to:

  • Have an understanding of what coaching is and when to use it.
  • Be able to use coaching skills within their leadership role.
  • Be able to apply the GROW coaching model appropriately to structure coaching conversations.
