We are delighted to announce the winners of the 2025-2026 MPLS Professional Services Excellence Awards. These awards honour staff who have made outstanding contributions through high quality planning, delivery and impact of professional services across a service or within a department.

This year's winners were selected by a panel chaired by Dr Tracy Gale, MPLS Divisional Registrar, from nominations spanning MPLS.

Padma Reddy – Department of Computer Science

As Research Facilitation Manager, Padma has been recognised through multiple nominations for the breadth and impact of her contributions across research. Her strategic vision, collaborative approach and commitment to supporting researchers have transformed research development within the department of Computer Science, helping colleagues secure major funding awards while building stronger, more sustainable research support for the future.

Padma is celebrated for being strategic and proactive, rather than reactive, across multiple workstreams including funding opportunities, industry engagement and pre-award research support. She encourages colleagues to think ambitiously and collaboratively for maximum impact.

Samantha Pearce – Department of Materials

Samantha has demonstrated exceptional ownership and leadership of the Oxford Advanced Materials Network in her role as Project Officer. Through her strategic coordination, financial stewardship and collaborative approach, Samantha has transformed the Network into a thriving, cross-University initiative that is strengthening partnerships, supporting research collaboration and creating lasting value for the wider MPLS community.

Angela Lintern – MPLS Finance Cluster

Angela is recognised for her exceptional leadership of the MPLS Finance Cluster, her determination in tackling complex financial challenges, and her commitment to delivering positive outcomes for the University. Angela’s financial expertise, collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues across departments and divisions have had a significant and lasting impact.
