The Google PhD Fellowships and Apple Scholars in AI/ML PhD Fellowships seek to recognise exceptional and innovative research in areas relevant to computer science and related fields. Each year Oxford is invited to nominate exceptional PhD candidates for these awards, which include a monetary award, as well as an industry mentor.

Please read all the guidance for each fellowship carefully, noting the application requirements.

Students wishing to apply for one or both of these awards should make their application via the online form by 09:00 BST on Tuesday 29 August 2023. Applications will be considered by an academic panel and selected nominations will be sent to Google and Apple respectively by the University. You will be informed of the outcome of your application in due course.

If your supervisors wish to submit letters of recommendation confidentially, they may send these to graduate.studies@mpls.ox.ac.uk - with the relevant scheme(s) and applicant's name in the subject heading.
