LGBT+ History Month 2026
February is LGBT+ History Month, a chance to celebrate the rich and diverse history of LGBT+ people and to raise awareness so that LGBT+ people feel safe, seen and supported. Find out more about the month itself and how you can get involved.
Support for our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) staff and students is imperative to ensure an inclusive environment in MPLS. We want to increase awareness and guidance and, as part of this, use this webpage to easily signpost to all the different networks, training sessions and various resources that are available to staff and students, whether members of the LGBTQ+ community or allies.

LGBT+ Training & Development
In MPLS we run a number of training and facilitation sessions to explore LGBTQ+ support. These include bystander, inclusive culture and allyship training.
