Research Communications Coordinator (Digital) (covering for maternity leave)

Charlotte manages the online presence of Oxford Sparks and its creative outputs to share the University of Oxford’s cutting-edge research with the public. Oxford Sparks is a digital science engagement platform which showcases the work of researchers within MPLS (and the University more broadly) through short films and the ‘Big Questions’ podcast. Charlotte also provides support to the MPLS communications team.

Prior to this role, Charlotte was a science communication specialist for the Springer Nature Research Communities, encouraging public engagement with science. She is also currently finishing a PhD in Palaeontology at the University of Birmingham, specialising in mammal brain evolution.
