COURSE DETAILS

This session looks at what being a post-doc means, what the opportunities and constraints are. It will also outline the support available to help you make the most of your time at the University. You will hear from the Careers Service, Research Services, the Oxford Research Staff Society, and about Public Engagement & Impact, Research Integrity and Enterprise.

Lunch is included.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this session you will understand:

  • More about the issues facing post-doctoral researchers.
  • More about the support available for post docs at Oxford and within MPLS.
  • Areas in which you need to develop your skills and how you are going to do it.
