How can we better anticipate and respond to the major risks facing the UK today? From climate and energy, to health and technology, the 2025 OPEN Forum will bring together a cross-disciplinary group of experts to explore these urgent questions - and you could be part of it.
Convened by the Oxford Policy Engagement Network (OPEN) in collaboration with the Blavatnik School of Government, the Oxford Martin School, the Pandemic Sciences Institute, and the ZERO Institute, this year’s Forum will focus on the UK’s resilience in the face of three key risk areas:
-
Environment and energy
-
Human health
-
Technology
The event will bring together over 100 participants, including researchers and representatives from government departments and public agencies, for a day of focused discussion and collaboration.
If your research touches on any of these themes, and you’re keen to contribute your insights to shaping policy and practice, consider submitting a short expression of interest to attend.
