Take your research to Green Man Festival, deadline 27 April
Green Man Festival, is a popular, family-friendly music festival taking place 14-17 August in the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, Wales, with an interactive science area. Applications are now open to take a science stall.
Are you part of a research group, organisation, or a science-loving creative keen to engage festival audiences in new and exciting ways? The organisers of Einstein's Garden—the science, nature, and technology area at Green Man Festival—are looking for enthusiastic teams to run interactive science stalls at this year’s festival, taking place 14–17 August 2025 in Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, Wales.
What is Einstein’s Garden?
Einstein’s Garden is where science meets creativity, bringing research to life through performance, art, music, and interactive experiences. Every year, the festival’s diverse audience—families, teenagers, and adults—immerse themselves in the most wacky and wonderful explorations of the world around us.
This is your chance to be part of that magic—whether your research focuses on cutting-edge technology, the wonders of nature, or the big questions that shape our understanding of the universe.
What Makes a Great Science Stall?
Your stall should be highly interactive and visually engaging—think hands-on experiments, creative installations, and immersive activities rather than roll-up banners or static displays. Theatricality is encouraged! Costumes, hand-crafted decor, and activities that evolve over the weekend as a result of participation are especially welcome.
💡 Power is not provided—but you’re welcome to bring your own renewable power source.
💡 Gazebos are available for hire, but the MPLS office also has event shelters, camping chairs, leisure batteries, and trestle tables available to loan. Get in touch to check availability.
How Much Does It Cost?
- £750 + VAT per standard 3x3m pitch (includes four festival passes and camping access).
