Nav Dean – Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence, University of Oxford
Nav Dean is a serial tech entrepreneur and deep-tech advisor focused on AI hardware, software and next-generation computing. He mentors academics and startups in areas including Edge AI, photonics and energy-efficient computing. Collaborating with leading universities, he bridges academia and industry to support deep-tech innovators. He is also a Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor in Computer Science Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Oxford Brookes University.

Dr. Natalia Pérez-Campanero Antolín - Research Programme Manager at Apart Research
Natalia is a research strategist focused on AI safety and the development of responsible technologies. At Apart Research, she supports international teams whose work has led to 20+ publications at top AI conferences. She co-developed Apart Lab Studio, a global programme for early-career researchers, and is an author on several papers exploring alignment and interpretability. She has also supported deep-tech startups through roles at The Royal Society and Panacea Innovation. She holds a DPhil from Oxford, where her research on animal navigation informed machine learning systems.
Dr. Xianxin Guo - Co-Founder and CEO at Lumai
Xianxin is an expert in the field of optical computing, with his ground-breaking research at the heart of Lumai’s game-changing AI accelerator. He holds a PhD in Physics and is a RCE 1851 Research Fellow at the University of Oxford. He has over ten years of experience in optics and quantum physics and was recently listed in the Photonics 100.
Dr. Marc Moesser - Investment Manager at redalpine
Marc is an Investment Manager at redalpine with a PhD in Applied Machine Learning from the University of Oxford and a Master’s in Biochemistry from ETH Zurich. He co-founded the Oxford Venture Capital Network and helped scale AI chemistry startup Chemify. Passionate about deeptech and innovation, he thrives on exploring new technologies and building impactful ventures across industries.
Wulfie Bain - Applied AI at OpenAI
Wulfie is an Applied AI expert at OpenAI, helping startups harness AI. He previously founded & scaled Lounge, a VC-backed global social platform, and worked in strategy at BCG & investment at an UHNW family office. He's published research on the use of Graph Neural Networks in medical AI, and guest lectures at Oxford on rationality and uncertainty in entrepreneurship. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from The University of Oxford and a Master's in Computer Science from Imperial College London.
